As a former journalist, nothing is more important to Tanisha than authentic storytelling.
After graduating from Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in magazine journalism, the Detroit native moved to New York to work as an online editor for brands like Vibe magazine and Black Voices. Her interest in multimedia led her to work as a product leader in TV for Nickelodeon and media publications like New York Magazine, Travel + Leisure, and Essence Magazine.
With more than a decade of experience launching digital products for popular media brands, in 2016, she launched Black Faves® to focus on amplifying and connecting people to Black-owned products and services.
What started as a Black-owned business directory has expanded into a boutique product agency and content studio. Today, Tanisha and her team partner with Black-Owned brands to build digital products and create content solutions to tell their stories across multimedia platforms.
